Harry Potter Merchandise Haul!

Anyone who knows me knows how much I love Harry Potter. I could talk for HOURS about the series(books more than the movies) and all my canon’s, headcanons and otp’s. I love it so much in fact that the husband proposed during the Yule Ball they had in Salt Lake City and our wedding was Harry Potter themed(along with a gaming theme as well). We had chocolate in case of Dementors and my bridesmaid gifts had wands included for the wand chooses the bridesmaid.

They were so yummy! We had milk chocolate candies and we also created golden snitches out of chocolate. Even after the wedding, I still love Harry Potter. ABC Family usually has a ton of marathons during the Fall/Winter season and I love sitting down and watching all of them in one sitting. Then again, who am I kidding? They have the marathons the whole year. Valentines Day, Start of Summer, Fourth of July…

Anyways, I still love my Harry Potter so naturally, I had to make sure we had the decor for it in our home.

I’m addicted to POPFunko Characters and have been wanting to build my collection even more. One of my close friends had bought the entire set of smaller HP Figurines and gave me the doubles so now I have a mini Crookshanks and Voldermort as well.

Aren’t they just the cutest? You can buy your own by clicking the photos!

I’m already a nerd and I love reading. When it’s a cold and windy afternoon, I love to snuggle up with my furbaby and reread the Harry Potter Collection.  I found an awesome Book of Insults for the Slytherin in Your Life. I’m a Gryffindor and my husband is Ravenclaw. We both find them hilarious.

We found those cute mugs as well that change when you add heat? Naturally, I plan on getting more as soon as I can! I also received the “I Solemnly Swear That I’m Up to No Good” Sweater from Wish and I love it! It was only 5 bucks ya’ll! And it was just like the 30 dollar ones you can get in the store! As soon as I’m done with this nasty head cold, I’ll post some pictures of me wearing it.

What House are you in? I would love to know! Who is your OTP? I kind of love the Draco and Hermione pairing in fanfics but only because I’ve had a crush on Tom Felton since the 3rd movie. Let me know in the comments below!

As always, keep smiling!

  1. This is awesome! I’m getting married in December and we are definitely incorporating Harry Potter (and other nerd elements) into our wedding. We’re even making each table a nerd theme and there are like 4 Harry Potter tables lol.

My fiance is a Hufflepuff and I’m a Ravenclaw. We’re totally obsessed. Love this!

  2. Ahhh this is a lovely post. I am the generation that kind of missed Harry Potter but I started tutoring a girl one year and to connect with her, I made myself watch all of the films. This post gives me a really nice memory of those times. I’m guessing you would recommend to read the books instead though 🙂

    1. Yes! The books are so much better than the movies! The movies were great, don’t get me wrong, but they left so many important things out such Harry’s relationship with Dudley near the ending, Kreecher, and soooo many other things. The books are ten times more emotional and make you really believe in the characters that Rowling created.

  3. Your love for Harry Potter is very transparent in this article. My son is into Harry Potter but it’s a recently introduced thing for him. I may be getting into things myself, umm. I think the books and movies go hand in hand. It can spark the fire even more. I am here thinking of adding some Harry Potter decor to my boy’s room. He is seven so it’s time to spice things up. Thank you for this!
